Child Find is the process of identifying, locating, and evaluating children ages 3–21 who may have disabilities and could be eligible for special education and related services. Both state and local education agencies are required by federal and state law to conduct Child Find to ensure that children who need special services have the opportunity to receive them.
Parents, teachers, public and private agency staff, and concerned community members are encouraged to assist Northridge Local School District in identifying children who may have disabilities and could benefit from special education support.
