At Northridge Local Schools, the Special Education department is committed to supporting every student's unique learning needs. We coordinate a variety of services, including preschool programs, individualized learning plans, and therapy support. By providing a safe and helpful environment, our team ensures that all children receive a free and appropriate education tailored to their individual growth.

Special Education Links and Resources

  • Child Find is the process of identifying, locating, and evaluating children ages 3–21 who may have disabilities and could be eligible for special education and related services. Federal and state law require both state and local education agencies to conduct Child Find to ensure all children who need support have the opportunity to receive it.

    Parents, teachers, agency staff, and concerned community members are encouraged to assist Northridge Local School District in identifying children who may benefit from special education services.
