Viking Hero Program
Viking Heroes

Northridge Local Schools is proud to introduce the Viking Heroes program—a district-wide initiative recognizing students, staff, volunteers, and community members who go above and beyond to support our schools and embody our Viking Values: trust, leadership, communication, collaboration, accountability, integrity, and respect. Whether it’s a student lending a helping hand, a teacher going the extra mile, a volunteer making a difference behind the scenes, or a community member supporting our schools, these acts of kindness, leadership, and integrity deserve to be celebrated.
Who can be nominated?
- Staff members (teachers, aides, administrators, etc.)
- Volunteers
- Community members who support Northridge Local Schools
Each month, Viking Heroes will receive:
- A certificate and token of appreciation
- Recognition by the Superintendent at the monthly Board of Education meeting
- A feature on the Virtual Viking Heroes Wall on the Northridge website and in our Quarterly Journal
We encourage the entire Northridge community to participate by nominating someone who exemplifies what it means to be a true Viking Hero. Nominate your Viking Hero today by completing the Google nomination form—help us celebrate those who make Northridge strong through trust, leadership, and heart.
